1. Scope of Services

Cascade Handy Services (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides handyman and home improvement services across Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Maple, Aurora, Toronto North, and surrounding areas. Services include, but are not limited to:

  • Appliance installation and removal

  • Drywall repair and patching

  • Interior and exterior painting

  • Power washing and sealing (driveways, patios, decks)

  • Fence repair and carpentry

  • Plumbing repairs (minor fixes)

  • Electrical services (minor – fixtures, outlets, switches)

  • Mounting and assembly (TVs, shelves, furniture)

  • General home maintenance

  • Junk and debris removal

Any additional services will be discussed and confirmed in writing with the client.

2. Estimates & Pricing

  • Estimates are provided based on the information available at the time of request.

  • Final cost may change if additional work, materials, or conditions arise.

  • Clients will always be informed and must approve additional charges before work continues.

  • All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

3. Payments

  • Payment is due upon completion of services, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Accepted payment methods: Cash, E-transfer, Debit/Credit card.

  • Late payments may result in additional fees, including but not limited to interest charges.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the estimated cost.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the property.

  • Inform us of any known risks (electrical, plumbing, structural, hazardous materials).

  • Ensure the work area is free of personal items or obstacles before work begins.

6. Limitations of Liability

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing issues, hidden defects, or damage caused by conditions outside our control.

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  • Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service.

7. Warranty

  • We provide a 30-day workmanship warranty on completed services.

  • Warranty excludes:

    • Normal wear and tear,

    • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or third-party work,

    • Materials provided by the client.

8. Health & Safety

  • Work may be paused or canceled if unsafe conditions exist.

  • The client is responsible for maintaining safe conditions on-site.

9. Privacy & Data

  • Client information (name, address, phone, email) is collected only for communication, scheduling, and billing.

  • Information will never be sold or shared with third parties, except as required by law.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
All disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario.
