Terms of Service

1) Company Information

Cascade Handyman Services (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a sole proprietorship operating in Ontario, Canada.

2) Scope of Services

We provide handyman and home improvement services, including but not limited to:

  • Caulking and sealing

  • Drywall repair and patching

  • Interior and exterior painting

  • Tile installation and repairs

  • Minor plumbing repairs

  • General handyman services

Services are offered in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and surrounding regions.

We also provide light landscaping, lawn maintenance, and yard clean-up services, including but not limited to:
Lawn mowing and trimming
Garden maintenance and clean-up
Mulch installation
Basic yard improvements

We do not provide heavy landscaping, excavation, or structural outdoor construction unless agreed separately.

3) Estimates & Pricing

  • All quotes are based on the information provided at the time of estimation

  • Final pricing may change if additional issues or scope changes are discovered

  • Estimates are valid for a limited time and may be subject to change

4) Scheduling & Access

  • Clients must provide safe and reasonable access to the work area

  • Delays caused by lack of access, weather, or unforeseen conditions may affect timelines

  • We reserve the right to reschedule if necessary

5) Payments

  • Payment terms will be agreed upon before work begins

  • Deposits may be required for certain jobs

  • Full or partial payment may be required upon completion

  • Late payments may result in additional charges

6) Cancellations & Refunds

  • Clients must provide reasonable notice for cancellations

  • Last-minute cancellations may be subject to a fee

  • Deposits may be non-refundable depending on work scheduled or materials purchased

7) Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the project

  • Ensure the work area is accessible and safe

  • Remove or protect personal belongings as needed

We are not responsible for damage to items that were not properly secured or disclosed.

8) Materials

  • Materials may be provided by us or the client

  • We are not responsible for defects in client-supplied materials

  • Additional costs may apply if materials need to be replaced

9) Workmanship & Warranty

  • We provide a limited workmanship warranty on completed work

  • Warranty does not cover:

    • Normal wear and tear

    • Improper maintenance

    • Structural or underlying issues beyond our control

    • Work affected by moisture, movement, or external damage

Warranty terms may vary depending on the service provided.

10) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions or hidden damage

11) Health & Safety

We reserve the right to refuse or stop work if conditions are unsafe or hazardous.

12) Delays Beyond Control

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Weather conditions

  • Material shortages

  • Supplier delays

  • Other circumstances beyond our control

13) Photos & Marketing

We may take before/after photos of completed work for documentation or marketing purposes with client consent.

14) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and applicable Canadian laws.

15) Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on our website.'

16) Insurance & Liability

We carry $2,000,000 general liability insurance.

Proof of insurance is available upon request.

Our coverage applies to damages directly caused by our work and within the scope of the project. We are not responsible for pre-existing issues, hidden conditions, or damages resulting from structural, plumbing, or external factors beyond our control.

All work is performed with professional care and industry standards.
